RainEscape®
Partners with Correct Building Products
to Expand Market and Bring Added Value to
Contractors and Homeowners
BIDDEFORD, Maine
- Correct Building Products, LLC® (CBP),
a global leader in sustainable, composite
decking and building materials has agreed
to be the exclusive distributor for the
RainEscape®, Deck Drainage System.
"We are confident
that contractors will enjoy working with
our drainage system and appreciate the value
and longevity it brings to their customers'
projects," noted Dave Kile, sales manager
for RainEscape®. "By partnering
with CBP and getting our product out through
their extensive network of building supply
distributors and dealers, we are hoping
to double our business in the coming year."
Contractors can promote
a combined CorrectDeck and the RainEscape®
system to their customers, order all the
materials through one dealer and maximize
their revenue on each deck project. "RainEscape
is nice because it keeps the moisture off
the joists and the whole deck lasts longer,"
noted Sam Hraby, of HR Decking in Colorado.
"It's made for contractors because
you can install it before the deck floor,
do it right the first time and not worry
about it."
Hraby also noted that when
consumers ask for a deck drainage system,
he always recommends RainEscape®. It
not only doubles their outdoor living space,
but allows installation of high-end ceiling
materials like tongue and groove and other
custom features.
RainEscape's trough and
downspout design drains water from the deck
above allowing the area below to be dry
and suitable for additional outdoor living
space. The RainEscape® system is installed
below the deck's surface and above the joists,
which protects the deck's support structure
from moisture and extends its lifespan.
It also allows for installation of overhead
electrical fixtures, such as lights, fans
and entertainment systems, as well as custom
ceiling materials and soffits for the living
space below.
Kile commented that there
is enormous growth potential in the deck
drainage market and RainEscape® is looking
to capitalize on this opportunity. The company
experienced nearly 20 percent growth in
the past year, but with approximately 1.2
million new elevated decks being installed
each year, there is room for increased sales.
